The Little Legends Collection was thought up in Evans Brothers Sandpoint Cafe–the epicenter for all that we love about this town. It’s a place that is both of the community and creates community, and many of our favorite people can be found daily amongst its customers. Rick is one of the Evans brothers, and we’re delighted he let us make him into a sticker.

Rick, alongside his brother Randy, founded Evans Brothers Coffee in the summer of 2009. As passionate skiers, the idea for the company developed over long chairlift rides at Schweitzer Mountain Resort. With Randy at the top of his game in the specialty coffee world and Rick with top-notch business development and marketing skills, the pair were poised to create something lasting.

Having accrued more awards than we can fit into this small text box–like Good Food Awards 1st Places and USA Today’s Best Independent Coffee Shop 3rd Place–it’s safe to say Evans Brothers Coffee is a triumphant success. But, arguably as impressive, is the way the their two locations have cemented themselves in the community as places of gathering and welcome.

Beyond Rick’s prolific success and all that Evans Brothers Coffee gives back to the community and its parterns around the globe, is Rick’s undeniable and inspiring zest for life. His slogan, “Be yourself, everyone else is taken,” is an apt description for how he leads by example in pursuing a passion-filled ride on this journey through life.
